Deerhoof recently got the chance to record a song for "Masters From Their Day," an on-going series that documents artists recording a song in just one day. In this episode, Deerhoof work with Chris Shaw, who has worked on tons of amazing records (Weezer's Blue Album, Public Enemy's It Takes a Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back, and more), on the song "Sexy, But Sparkly," which is featured on the vinyl version of our latest sampler, Hey Girl, Hey, available RIGHT HERE.

Breakup Song comes out September 4th on CD, LP (white vinyl), and digital formats. When asked how the album sounds, the band describes it best - "Noise jingles for parties."
